9 WAYS TO USE SWEET ALMOND OIL

So as I’m aging (yes I said it), I’ve noticed that that my skin keeps getting drier. This past summer,  I’ve started to use sweet almond oil on my body and occasionally on my face as a natural moisturizer and I am clearly noticing the difference! And did you know that you can also use sweet almond oil in home  hair treatments, in body or massage oils and other homemade beauty products. Read on as I share with you 9 ways that I am using sweet almond oil in my sustainable beauty regime. 

  1. Facial Moisturizer: After cleansing, apply a few drops of sweet almond oil to damp skin to lock in moisture and leave your face feeling soft and supple.

  2. Body Lotion: Mix sweet almond oil with your favorite body lotion or apply it directly to damp skin after a shower to nourish and hydrate your body from head to toe.

  3. Hair Mask: Treat your hair to a luxurious spa day by massaging sweet almond oil into your scalp and hair, then wrapping your hair in a warm towel for 30 minutes before shampooing as usual.

  4. Cuticle Oil: Keep your nails and cuticles healthy and hydrated by massaging sweet almond oil into them daily. This will help prevent hangnails and keep your nails looking their best.

  5. Makeup Remover: Apply a few drops of sweet almond oil to a cotton pad and gently wipe away makeup, including stubborn mascara and eyeliner, without stripping your skin of its natural oils.
